The Catalina Resort Hotel: The First Hotel In The Zihuatanejo Resort Area

The Zihuatanejo Resort is a charming beach resort area approximately half way down the coastline of Mexico. It has kept the small fishing village charm of its early days that visitors have enjoyed over the years. The cobblestone streets are lined with small shops with varying wares and small, intimate cafes and restaurants. One of the nicest hotels to stay in is the Zihuatanejo Resort.

Mr. Alfonso Galindo Mackintosh opened the Zihuatanejo area to tourism some thirty years ago when he decided to build a resort hotel on the hill above the beautiful La Ropa beach. He surrounded it with beautiful tropical gardens. The hotel was called the Zihuatanejo Resort after his wife and daughter who were both named Catalina.

The Zihuatanejo Resort was designed in such a way that every room has its own terrace. Chaise lounges, hammocks and a table were placed on each terrace for the enjoyment of the guests. They are able to rest, relax and enjoy listening to the waves and the birds singing during the day and enjoy a drink with their friends in the evening as the sun sets over the water.

There are five different rooms for guests to choose from. Three of them, the honeymoon suite, the vista suites and the deluxe bungalows are equipped with air conditioning, while the casitas and small casitas are cooled by fans and the natural ocean breezes. The rooms are designed for the size of the group and the size of the guest’s pocketbook.

The Zihuatanejo Resort offers off season, mid-season and high season room rates. Off season guests are served a complete American style breakfast, and high season guests receive a Continental breakfast. There are two meal plans that guests can choose from for the rest of the day: lunch and dinner or just lunch.

Guests will never lack for things to do. There are a variety of water sports and fishing opportunities for guests who enjoy the water. For those who do not, there are two eighteen-hole golf courses, shopping and other activities. Guests enjoy browsing through the name brand clothing, leather items, gold and silver jewelry and the many items that are made by the local people.

For those who are looking for a quiet semi-hidden resort where they can relax and enjoy themselves, the ZihuatanejoResort is a fascinating resort hotel within the Zihuatanejo Resort area. Besides the normal water sports and shopping, there is a wide variety of outdoor activities that the guests can participate in. Nighttime cannot be beat in Zihuatanejo.

Thanks for your submission. I also believe laptop computers are becoming more and more popular currently, and now are usually the only form of computer utilized in a household. It is because at the same time actually becoming more and more affordable, their processing power is growing to the point where these are as robust as desktop computers through just a few years back.

I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
