One of the most interesting games that can make you some good money is golf. If you want to take up this career then I advise you to read on in order to get a foundation on which you will become a professional golf player in the long run.

The moment you take golf for granted then you are bound to fail in your efforts to master its techniques. This is because many folks think that golf is only played for fun and hence they never put in any energy to train hard.

Positioning is the best technique that you will have to put in mind if you want to make it in golf. While swinging the golf club, you will only be fruitful if your position is good hence your shot will end up in the right spot.

Copying somebody else’s stunt is not the way to go because everyone has their own way of mastering golf. You might think that the golf player you saw on TV made a shot in another potion hence you might be tempted to try it out. This is not the way to learn.

Balance is the first thing you will have to master in order to get hold of the other techniques used to play golf. As soon as you master it, you will find it easy to swing and hit the ball with ease hence this will signify that you are ready to take on the next stunt.

Secondly, practice has to become part of your timetable if you stand a chance of mastering the game. You will achieve a lot if you train all the time because this will help you master all the basics easily due to the fact that you keep doing the techniques over and over again.

Feel free to get in touch with a professional coach because they will help you develop your swinging at the ball. They do cost quite a bit, but if you are truly serious about the sport you need one to help you stay focused on your long term goals. They can also teach you a few tricks you probably do not know about.

You will gain a lot if you invest some money to help you become a professional golf player. It is a long road ahead, but also a lucrative one if you try and stay focused.

As in many things, you can either spend a lot of money in one go or you can spend a little several times, until you get what you really need.

If you are just starting out and are not 100% sure that you want to commit yourself to the addictive game of golf, you should either rent golf clubs at the clubhouse on the golf course, or buy a starter set of golf clubs.

Purchasing a set of starter golf clubs allows you to become accustomed to them; enabling you to concentrate on your swing instead of wondering how this set of miss-matched golf clubs you just rented is going to work out.

After you become better acquainted with the game of golf, you should consider investing in a better set of clubs more suited to you.

In general, a set of clubs includes a driver, one or two fairway woods, numbers 4-9 irons, a wedge or two and a putter.

Once become more experienced and start thinking about new clubs, you may want to think about purchasing your driver separately. Some players want a driver to give them more accuracy, some want more distance.

There are numerous sorts of golf ball available and the golf ball box will usually have a chart on the back to help you select the right golf ball for your needs. As you learn more about the game and get better at playing it, you should try out different balls which could help improve your accuracy and/or your distance.

Typically, golfers spend a good deal of money on a set of golf clubs, with no guarantee that it will improve his or her game. Nevertheless, top golf manufacturers, each try to better the other in developing new styles, materials and designs and when a new feature comes out, you can be sure that the competition is quick to copy it.

Golf club clones

Golf club clones are a great investment for those new to the sport. Even experienced player benefit by getting clone clubs to try out a new design or feature. Golf club clones can be some of the best performing golf equipment you will ever play with. Just because a set of golf clubs are expensive doesn’t mean that they are better.

Many golfers place an undue importance to brand names. Unless the club is custom fitted to the player, that top brand club will do nothing for your game. Clones are made from the same exact material as the top brand names, but because clone manufactures do not advertise, you save buying factory direct. The grips, head and shafts are bought from the same or similar factory sources as the big rand names buy from and are engineered almost identically to the top brand names.

The quality of a golf clone is equal or better than brand name clubs. They deliver great value and the quality and use the same design principles, materials shafts and grips as the top brand names and they perform as well if not better. The only caveat is to buy your club from a proven leader in the field, one who has been successful and around for a number of years. Remember, by buying clone irons or other clone clubs you get the same pro-quality type equipment at a discount that can’t be beat.

When you learn about the golf equipment game, your cost savings by choosing clones help you buy more of any number of clone customized clubs exactly to fit your style and taste. Material choices for putters are immaterial. The shape, weighting and type of inserts generally override materials in your decision.

Golf clone clubs are crafted and made to deliver peak performance that is as good or better than brand name clubs. Many are not aware of the virtues of clone putters, irons and drivers since the hard-core advertising conducted by the branded golf manufacturers.

Golf – Chipping and Putting Tips

Try out my four iron chip shot: simply bump it just past the fringe, & allow it roll out. Use your putting grip and choke down a few inches on your golfclub.

By adding more clubs to my available chipping selection, my short shots have as of lately gotten much more accurate. In particular, on those long chips in which you just have to get the golf ball on the green and allow it just roll on out, I’ve had a lot of success using my 4 iron . This last month, while out with a friend, I played with that particular hit which wound up being an easy two putt from about twenty yds out.

I prefer using a reverse overlap putting grip since it helps me to keep my hands working together. Everything else I focus on is fundamental to chipping. I line up my golf ball slightly back from center in a less than shoulder width but slightly open stance, & set my weight on my left foot. This helps to allow me come in with a descending strike into the back of the ball. Before I start to do anything, however, I look over the break in the green and pick an area on the other side of the fringe where I’d like the golfball to land.

Exactly like when I putt, I hold my head still long after striking the ball. Doing so will help me to strike the golf ball cleanly. Imagine the path as being the cup-width and aim for one hole after the other systematically to reduce anxiousness.

Far too many of the players I meet are far too worried about following their line. Most I’ve met say they picture a narrow line on the green running from the ball to the cup – but, the harder they think about hitting that line, the more tense they get – and as a result, this keeps them from taking a smooth, relaxed stroke. Thus, the golf ball rarely stays on the inteded path.

Instead, I tell players to imagine a path from the putter to the cup like a number of sequential holes. This image will allow you to relax to simply let the stroke go smoothly, & will go a long way to help you imagine a route to the cup. When you are ready to put, simply think of striking the golf ball into the first hole only a few inches away. Think of the actual hole to control your distance only. Doing this should take off the pressure and make puttinga little easier and more positive.

How To Learn Solid Touch In Golf

With everybody focusing on putting and chipping, pitching has become an underdiscussed but important section of your game. Short hitters that do not make it to the greens & long players that get wild have to rely on pitching in order to still make pars.

The strongest players at pitching are at their fundamentals strong and have developed a “feel” for being able to control distance. I have worked pretty hard over time in order to improve. Here are my 2 big pitching tips. Take a good shoulder turn backwards & through the swing, so that my large muscles are controlling the motion, & let your arms stay soft.

I can’t put enough stress on the importance of having a motionless head when regarding solid ball-striking ability & accurate iron play. However, you also have to know when you can release your head toward the target.

Average golfers tend to move their head side to side or up & down during the swing. Vertical movement, even if done merely to a small degree, will typically have the result of thin or fat shots as the relative distance to the golf ball increases or decreases. A pulled or pushed iron shot often results from having too much lateral motion, as they are an inability to consistently bring back the clubhead to the place it was at address.

During my swing, I try to keep my head perfectly motionless. It moves downward a little when you come into contact with the ball – just not laterally. So that it doesn’t inhibit my follow through, then I release it towards the target after striking.

I typically would prefer to use my 9-iron over my sand wedge for bunker shots of forty to 50 yards. I’m likely to hit under the ball & be short or strike the golf ball in the middle & skull it beyond the green in order to create that much distance with the higher-lofted club choice. By utilizing the bounce from the bottom of your club in order to hit right through the sand with more room for error, I can reach the target with a 9 iron.

I normally swing the way I would with my sand wedge swing. I will begin by opening up my stance & club towards my target area & moving my hands down on the handle. I move the club backward along the stance line & then follow through using an out-to-in motion. My left arm is firm when impacting – which keeps me from letting my hands go.

As a result of doing this the golf ball comes out relatively low, so you will want to allow for some extra roll.

Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand For Vacation

February 18, 2011 by

Pattaya is a city constructed for fun on the northeastern coast of the Gulf of Thailand. It is located in Chonburi Province around 150 kilometres south of Bangkok. In the Sixties, Pattaya was hardly known, yet the American soldiers fighting in Vietnam started using it for R&R and it started to boom. Pattaya is most famous for its entertainment and its nightlife, yet in fact it has a lot more than that to offer.

As far as only sport goes, Pattaya offers horse riding, swimming, diving, wind surfing, golf, tennis and jet skiing among others. However, unlike most sporting towns or cities, it does not start to go to sleep when the sun goes down.

The bars, restaurants, discos and strip bars start to open in profusion at around four o’clock. The bars are of each persuasion to suit every niche market.

There are Welsh bars, American bars, Irish bars, Lady Boy bars and each other type of bar you can think of. Likewise with the restaurants, there are specialized restaurants for every country. There are bush game restaurants, Chinese, Japanese, American, French, German and fish restaurants. In fact there are thousands of restaurants and bars all trying to become unique.

I am sure that you could stay in Pattaya for months without going the same bar or eating the same sort of food twice. This is just as well because there are representatives from each country in the world there as well. You will hear English, Russian and every European and Asian language spoken in Pattaya on an everyday basis.

Pattaya receives over one million visitors a year. Most of these visitors are men, and the local government is trying to do more to attract women and families by relocating the girlie bars back away from the beach.

Despite it being fairly big, you can stay in your favourite part of Pattaya and find nearly everything you want near-by. However, if you do have to travel about, nothing could be simpler. Most individuals just hop on a ‘Baht Bus’. These small open-backed pick-ups can be seen going about the city by fairly predictable routes when you understand the layout of the city.

The ‘fixed fare’ is ten Baht for as far as you want to go on the route, although some drivers will endeavor to trick more out of you if you go a long distance. Thais pay five Baht. If you do not feel confident enough to predict where the bus is going, you could get on one of the thousands of motorcycle taxis.

They are dearer at about forty to sixty Baht, yet they will go anywhere you like. Ask for a quote before you leave to avoid disappointment on both sides. If you do not want to hire a car, there are other alternatives. You could rent a motorcycle or motorbike. A motorcycle costs about 100 Baht a day at the cheapest, but beware the traffic in Pattaya it can get pretty chaotic.
