A huge part of golf is swinging, and before you make a Perfect Golf Swing, it is important to devise a routine which will help you with your focus. There are quite a few golfers out there, and they all have a different way of doing their swing.
For reference, there is a pre-shot routine below here, which you can feel free to take and use in your own game:
Step 1: Do a practice swing, and only do one. There are many beginners out there that take too make practice swings. This can really destroy your game, because an excess of practice swings can destroy a person’s confidence.
All you need is one decent practice swing before hitting the ball. Keep it simple and try to keep your mind off of the swing as much as possible. Your goal is to simply limber up your arms and shoulders, not over-stressing the play.
Step 2: Now you need to create a visual image in your mind of how you want the shot to turn out. When you’ve done your practice swing, picture the club actually hitting the ball. Then picture your Perfect Golf Swing happening in exactly the way you want.
Picture the ball flying through the air, with a perfect arc, and then landing exactly where you want it to go. Literally pretend that you are making a real shot, then step up to the ball for the real thing.
Step 3: Your aim is next. You need to put the ball in a spot where you’ll be sure to hit it. Basically you just need to align yourself with the clubhead. When you do this, consider the turf you stand on, and the distance of the shot that you are going to take.
Once you are ready, select a second target that is a few feet in front of you, one that is in the direct line of fire. This second target makes it easier to hit the ball towards your destination.
Step 4: Make your shot. The practice swing is over, your aim is true. So long as you keep your arms limber and you stay focused, you should be able to make that shot with a degree of confidence. Know that when you swing and hit, your ball will make it all the way there without any interruption.

Golf is a game that has been played several hundred years now. It can be enjoyable, frustrating, and exciting all at the same time. Most beginners will appreciate learning new ways to enhance their play.
Golf play starts with hitting a small ball off the tee onto the fairway. One attempts to hit the ball onto the green and then into the cup or hole. Some courses are 9 holes, some are’ holes or more. Some courses are designed to be walked and some are more easily played when one uses a golf cart.
The point of the game is to put the ball into the cup with the least amount of strokes. The person who hits least, wins. Rules must be observed during play and getting to know them can be to your advantage. Etiquette plays a part also, so familiarity with basic etiquette is a good idea too.
Golf started in Scotland. Records show the fist golf game was played in the eighteen hundreds. Two names associated with the first golf games are “Kolven” and “Chole. By the eighteen hundreds, golf had spread all over the world. It has become well known and used in many schools, organizations, and clubs all over the country as a great sporting event. Anyone can play this game and have fun learning and trying at the same time.
Many people are getting interested in the game now. It’s a great game that is fun and relaxing to play. When you play golf, the rest of the world seems to disappear. Anyone can play, no matter what type of golf you play.
Many young people play now. Schools offer golf as a sport and kids usually can get a letter jacket also. When kids pick up the game as a teenager, they usually play for life. However, for a teenager used to the buzz of fast-paced electronic games, the pace of golf can sometimes be slow. But it can help develop patience.
Business people have gone for golf whole hog too. Today’s economic climate increases stress on executives and they are turning to golf more frequently as a relief strategy. Furthermore, many contracts are proposed and executed on the golf course. This allows the busy executive to play and work at the same time.
Everyone, young, old, and in between can play golf. Families, friends, and business associates enjoy the game. Accessories can be a fun hobby too.
